Not any of the actual memes floating around, just a few lists.

Things What Were Shiny and New in 2008 (aka, never did that before!)
-Streaked
-Skinny dipped (in the Crim Dell - woo triathlon!)
-Flashed someone (Y'know, when you're me and you take your shirt off in front of a gay guy with the intention of distracting and/or scaring him away because he's usually terrified of breasts, the expected reaction is not "Ooooooooo!")
-Assorted things involving girls and not wearing clothes that will not be elaborated upon further.
-Designed a set that actually got built! Several times I've been sort of default designer, for shows I TDed at TJ and for Mike because there was no real designer, but Judevine was the first time my actual job was to design the set.
-...and got a Bohica (informal theatre department awards that they do in the spring) for it.
-Built a BARREL.
-Drank too much.
-Admitted Scary Feelings to the person concerned.
-Made friends with a genuine Frat Boy (TM). (I have several friends who are in fraternities, mostly of the academic and service varieties, but I wouldn't call any of them Frat Boys. Whereas this one really, really is.)
-Nighttime Dillard adventures.
-PBK rooftop adventures.
-Jello shots, of the tequila variety. Mmm.
-Baked something by myself. (Brownies out of a box, but still, I'd only ever baked with other people before.)
-Corneal abrasion!
-Surgery of the non-wisdom-teeth variety! But hey, no more carpal tunnel so it's all good.
-Voted in a presidential election.
-...relatedly, was proud of Virginia!
-Worked with a trap door in the stage.
-UVA campus! Some weird-ass corner of the campus in the middle of the night with no shoes, but still, the campus.
-Master electrician'd a show. Although it was more like a fake title for "Hung and focused a lot of lights but mostly just did what Jordan said."
-Got a wolf-whistle, from a man who actually likes women.

Things What Were Sucky
-Stress from doing too many shows at the same time, first Judevine/Othello and then Medea/Antony & Cleopatra/Seagull.
-Not having wrists for a week. The surgery was ultimately for the good, but the week immediately after sucked, and the various scheduling problems prevented me from doing anything else worthwhile all summer.
-Expensive computer problems.
-Not getting a raise this academic year because the economy sucks and the school is broke.
-Various social failures.
-Angst associated with one of said failures.
-...angst in general, really.
-Various people flaking out and/or letting me down in various ways.
-That period of being way broke in the fall.
-Prop 8, as well as the anti-gay stuff that passed elsewhere. Florida, Arizona, and I think there was something in Alabama too.
-Assorted environmental fail.
-Assorted fail worldwide.
-The door of my apartment randomly deciding not to close properly anymore.
-The summer of fail, as mentioned in connection with the wrists.
-The idiots in my Old English class.
-The idiots in stagecraft.
-The (theatre) department being broke.

Things What Were Good
-Othello and Reefer Madness and Medea. All stress and nonsense aside, those were damn good shows and I was proud to be a part of them. And Reefer was such fun to work on.
-My awesome apartment, and having Tim & David right across the hall and all associated awesome and crazy.
-Tim & David, period. They are good people and I really enjoy & appreciate having them around. Even if I would never actually tell Tim this.
-Geoff.
-The BARREL and the DAGGER and man, Pirates was a damn good show too. But the BARREL and the DAGGER.
-Kerry. All the fun in the spring, and then the visit and the letters since she graduated.
-Rolfe.
-November 4th. Obama and VIRGINIA and actually feeling positive about politics for once.
-Writing again.
-Crazy adventures of all kinds. PBK roof, Dillard shopping, Charlottesville, triathlon, etc.
-I think Tim and David and my awesome apartment warrant another mention, because they are just that good.
-Environmentally friendly stuff becoming "cool" or something. There's still a lot of fail going on, but at the same time, Tysons has nice parking spots reserved for hybrids, and there are plastic-like cups & bags & things made of corn, and so on.
-Getting good grades despite being a huge slacker (academically) for a lot of the spring semester.
-Making lots of exciting jewelry.
-Old English, in spite of the idiots.

First Night was good. I love getting paid what worked out to over $29 an hour for basically sitting and listening to music. There was plenty of actual work during prep and strike, but the 6.5 hours during the performances were incredibly laid back. Crawling around in the beams in the dark to fix things during one of the performances was pretty exciting, too, but mostly it was just sitting.

I feel extra rich right now because I'd completely forgotten that the school still owed me a paycheck from the beginning of December, so that $100 seems like an unexpected bonus.

Also, I am a champion at Tim's puzzle box, and Tim drunk is one of the best things ever.

I don't really do New Year's resolutions, but here's to figuring out what to do with myself, graduating, and making a clean break for something new.

That's a pretty significant income rate for what seems to involve a techie job. Go you! Congratulations.

Unfortunately the awesome salary is only for the thing on New Year's eve - I do the same sorts of jobs throughout the year, but then they only pay me $7.25 an hour. Still, it's a nice chunk of cash to take home for one day's work.

Wait which part? There are so many things on those lists that I fear might be upsetting to you. D:

ALSO I want to see before we leave! What are you doing tomorrow?

THAT IS NOT AN ANSWER TO THE QUESTION!

...unless you were answering the second question, in which case it is an answer but not a very helpful one. :(
